Tetsuhisa MIWA, PhD

Research topics

I have long worked for agricultural and environmental research institutions. My research interests lie mainly in applied statistics, ranging from experimental designs to data analyses. Recently I have been engaged in the field of multiple comparison procedures. For example, I provided a practical procedure that combines the advantages of one-sided and two-sided multiple comparison procedures in a paper published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association (1999). I also solved the long-standing problem of evaluating any normal distribution function in a paper published in the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Ser. B (2003).
